Principles of the Balanced ScorecardView / Download the Course OverviewObjectiveIt is over a decade since Kaplan and Norton first introduced the Balance Business Scorecard (BSC) providing a business tool that is recognised as one of the most significant contributions to current management thinking. This new version of our one-day course is an overview of the BSC, providing delegates with an insight into how this tool can help translate vision and strategy into objectives and, critically, create measures that monitor the real improvements that can be achieved by the organisation.
For further information, training pack licences, or booking details for this course, please email us at MEC.Courses@mecservices.co.uk. or telephone 01502 512814.
The course, with its emphasis on both concepts and practice, would appeal to those senior managers who feel they need a framework to help them implement business strategy. It would also appeal to Finance, IT and HR professionals who have the responsibility of implementing and monitoring corporate strategy. In addition to the course materials all attendees will receive their own copy of Kaplan and Norton’s book ‘The Strategy Focused Organisation’ published by HBS Press.
No previous knowledge of the Balanced Scorecard is required for this course but some management experience would be of value.
We can also offer a version of this course that is tailored at managers with responsibility for the Information Technology function. The course includes the standard content, as described below, and an additional section devoted to the creation of an IT scorecard.
