we can help
There
are many types of teams including the standard understanding of a team,
self-directed teams and virtual teams. We can help the business identify
the most appropriate format of team to meet the business needs and
cultural imperatives. We provide training to the team to help them move
through the process that is often represented as forming, storming,
norming, and performing. This requires members of the team to understand
their own style of working and interacting with others and the skills
necessary to be the team leader as necessary. We also work with managers to
help them set objectives and manage the different team types.
We
can also work with senior management teams to identify and resolve specific
team related issues that are particularly applicable in this situation.
N.B.
Often, we will bring in other MEC Service Ltd partners and occasionally
third parties to deal with some of the technical side of assessing teams
e.g. using the Belbin model to identify team roles.
